Working days are Monday to Friday, excluding official public holidays. Holidays not yet officially confirmed are listed as expected on Public holidays 2026 and 2027.
Working out payment terms and deadlines
- Invoice at 30 days: the term runs from the invoice date unless agreed otherwise. Put the due date on the invoice itself to avoid discussion.
- Working days or calendar days: a quote "valid for 14 days" means calendar days. Lead times are better agreed in working days.
- Tenders: a closing date on a Saturday or holiday does not move by itself. Submit a day early.
- Tax: the fixed dates for VAT, wage tax and income tax are on the tax deadlines page.
