Privacy policy
You can use Suriname Business without telling us anything about yourself. What you enter in the tools stays on your own device. We only keep data when you create an account, post a vacancy or a business, or send us a message.

Who is responsible
Suriname Business (part of the Explore group), Paramaribo, Suriname. Email: info@surinamebusiness.com. This is the address for every question about your data, also if you live in the European Union. We reply within one month.

To stop abuse, forms and sign-in sessions keep a hashed version of your IP address, never the address itself. We do not sell data, show ads, build profiles or make automated decisions about you. Applications go straight to the employer; we receive no CVs.

Sign in with Google only loads a Google script once you click Sign in. The vacancy form uses Cloudflare Turnstile against spam. A few tool pages load a code library from jsDelivr. Fonts come from our own server.
Who processes the data
- Cloudflare: database hosting, sign-in, forms, email notifications and Web Analytics.
- GitHub (Microsoft): website hosting.
- Google: Sign in with Google and Google Analytics (advertising features off).
These services also operate outside Suriname and the EU, including in the United States. They are certified under the EU-US Data Privacy Framework or use the European Commission's standard contractual clauses. Only the Suriname Business administrator can see your account data, and only when needed for support or to stop abuse.
Your rights
You can ask what data we hold about you, have it corrected or deleted, restrict its use, object, and get your data in a usable file. Withdraw consent for statistics with the button above or with Cookie settings at the bottom of every page. With an account, you download your data and delete your account yourself in My account. For anything else, email info@surinamebusiness.com.
If you live in the EU and are unhappy with how we handle your data, you can complain to the data protection authority in your country, in the Netherlands the Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens.
