Become a supplier to Suriname's oil and gas sector

There are two registrations. The Suriname Supplier Registration Portal (SSRP) serves all offshore operators and is free. SAP Ariba is only for supplying Staatsolie itself.

Step by step

1. Get your company in order. KKF registration, a tax (FIN) number and a business licence where required. Start a business
2. Register in the SSRP. The portal gives access to tenders, RFIs and other procurement by all companies active offshore. Go to the SSRP
3. Supplying Staatsolie? Also register in SAP Ariba. Ariba registration
4. Watch open tenders. Staatsolie publishes expressions of interest (EOI) with a deadline, often within two to three weeks. See the list
5. Build your qualifications. Operators look at HSE (safety), quality systems and references. Staatsolie's Blue Wave programme helps local suppliers develop.

Where is the demand?

Besides specialised services (FPSO, EPC, well services), operators mostly need general support: catering, security, transport, logistics and customs clearance, temporary labour, maintenance and repair.
