Tax deadlines

Every fixed date for VAT, wage tax and AOV, and income tax for the next 12 months. Add them all to your calendar at once, with a reminder two days before.

    How the dates are set

    • VAT: return and payment monthly, by the 16th of the following month. VAT in Suriname
    • Wage tax and AOV: the tax office portal accepts the monthly return from the 26th up to and including the 10th. We show the 10th of the following month.
    • Income tax: provisional return by 15 April; final return for individuals within 4 months after the year (30 April); for companies within 6 months after the financial year (30 June for a calendar year). Income tax and returns

    When a date falls on a weekend or holiday, file in time; do not count on an extension. If in doubt, check with the tax office.
